About Us Organisations let customers and partners through network/perimeter defences such as firewalls to access applications. Criminals can use the same path to then access and exploit application vulnerabilities. The application security products marketed by 2nd Phase protect applications. Initially when the Internet first came into commercial use it was hacking for ’fun’ and for recognition/ kudos amongst the hacking community peers. In more recent years the hacking has been primarily for profit. International laws make cross-border prosecutions very hard so the criminals are cashing in and targeting the weakest links for maximum gain. Now that perimeter defences of organizations are solid, the criminals are using the least line of resistance business model to hacking and exploiting application vulnerabilities. 2nd Phase wants to eliminate these threats. Company Values - We genuinely want to help organizations protect their applications.
- Security is everyone’s responsibility.
- Security is a process not a product.
- The goal is not to protect against yesterdays attacks but tomorrows as well.
- Outstanding service and quality is a long-term commitment.
- Customer loyalty is earned not a right.
- You can say all you like about values but the true test is getting it right with customers.
